Project Overview

 

In 2018, our company secured a significant contract related to the National Surface Water Automatic Monitoring System Construction and Operation Maintenance Project, initiated by the China Environmental Monitoring Station. With a total project budget of 1.58 billion RMB, our company was awarded 143 million RMB, highlighting our expertise and competitive edge in environmental monitoring solutions.

 

 

Project Objectives

 

 

The project aims to enhance the automatic monitoring network for water quality across China, enabling timely assessments of surface water quality dynamics. Key objectives include:

Comprehensive Monitoring Network:

Establishing a robust system that integrates automatic monitoring as the primary method, supplemented by manual monitoring.

Data Quality Assurance:

Ensuring the quality of surface water monitoring data is paramount, adhering to the principles of national assessment, monitoring, and data sharing.

Collaboration and Transparency:

Facilitating shared access to monitoring data at both national and local levels to promote transparency and informed decision-making.

 

Project Scope

As part of this project, the government plans to publicly tender the construction of 1,087 new monitoring stations. Our company successfully won contracts for the construction of 105 monitoring stations and the operation and maintenance of 58 additional stations from a competitive pool of bidders. The project includes:

Fixed Monitoring Stations:

We supplied equipment for fixed stations, which included:

    • Automatic analyzers for five conventional parameters
    • Ammonia nitrogenanalyzers
    • CODmn analyzers
    • Total phosphorus and total nitrogenanalyzers
    • System integration services

Floating Monitoring Stations:
For floating stations, our supply included:

    • Boat hulls and associated facilities
    • Automatic analyzers for five conventional parameters, ammonia nitrogen, CODmnindex, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, chlorophyll a, and algal density
    • System integration services

Additionally, the new monitoring stations will come with three years of operation and maintenance services to ensure their effective functioning.
